BMW 635i
Specifications
A luxury coupe that offers more than the mere illusion of high performance –
The BMW 6 Series of the E24-series. Sharknose? Check. The still beautiful kidneys? Check. Rear wheel drive, a fat 6 pitter and manual transmission? Check. And then the elongated coupe line that had many a bad boy shouting ‘what you gonna do’. The only correct word to cover this is timeless beauty.
In 1976, the first E24 was born in Munich. All the first models were born as 630 CS and 633 CSi. Not until 1983 did BMW put the icing on the cake and the legendary M1 block found its way into the 6 Series. This is how the 635 CSI was born. The difference? 500 cc extra plopping power, 33 extra roaring Bavarian horses and the i, which is synonymous with the most solid time from Bosch who provided the Injection.
Eventually, the villain coupe was made until almost the 1990s. The most sought-after models (yes ours is one of them) are from before 1986, because that’s when the Catalyst came to party-crash the Bavarian symphony. 26 Bavarian horses were sent home and she also lost some torque underneath. Verdammt noch mal!!!
And then just a bit of ours; she’s matching, she’s been fully handled, restored, documented and is now looking. For her new owner. Will we see you soon?
