BMW M5
Specifications
In 2003, BMW showed off the fifth generation of the 5 Series. It was a distinct design, lots of aluminum and for the time, the very modern iDrive system. In 2005, the M5 of the E60 series was released. The last engine of the M5 series that managed to achieve its power output atmospherically.
Perhaps BMW already knew this; in fact, they specially built the 5.0 liter V10 block for the M5. Later, the power source was also used in the M6. The block delivers a bizarre 507 HP and 520 Nm of torque. This allows the business sedan to go to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and to 200 km/h in 9.2 seconds. The V10 block manages to get goosebumps on our arms, at 7750 rpm the ‘M-funf’ only lets all 507 M-horsepower assert itself.
Our M5 comes from a collection and has barely had a chance to break in, given the very low mileage. The E60 has been very well maintained and is beautifully put together. Besides the heated rear seats and night-vision, this M5 is equipped with all options. The Individual interior (white leather, black alcantara roof and wooden inlays on the dashboard) is a perfect match. This M-icon deserves to be taken back into the lovers heart!
