And then the raw power, which keeps pushing you to almost 9,000 RPM; Toe-curling and sodeju, how fast it goes.... At our clubhouse, a Porsche soon became a bit ordinary. Until we were introduced to the 997.2 GT3....

The front already reveals that this is no "ordinary" 911 . As soon as you walk alongside, the nicely shaped ironing board on the back already gives things away. No Roderick, that's not a tie-down strap for the golf bag. That is downforce, something you really need with this machine! The 3.8 boxer received an additional 15 HP after the facelift, bringing the total up to 450 lapping horses from the Stuttgart stable.

And then why not a GT3 RS? Well, ours, if you have all the buttons set to 'good' mode, can also be used without a kidney belt! When you flip the 'Sport' button, it seems like the Porsche is finally allowed to do what it was really made for. Clammy hands, itchy underbelly and, above all, lots of smiles. Her suspension is such that from now on, breaking out into a cloverleaf can easily be done with your gas pedal.

And that rational part? Our competitive price is because this Porsche has been completely repainted and is originally from Mexico. But other than that: low mileage, manual transmission, central wheel nuts and Class 5 Alarm system. And as icing on this fat German cake, an Akrapovic exhaust system that makes every neck hair in a 5 kilometer radius stand straight up. It can also be set to close for the neighbors in the morning.
