Porsche 911 S Targa
Specifications
– The 911 G-model, a car for heroes. –
What does the “G” stand for? Ganz geile Karre! Man, how the Germans can make wonderful cars. The Americans found the convertible not safe enough, and came up with an aluminum rollbar. However. those Americans did ensure that one of Porsche’s greatest icons was born; the Targa.
This super cool classic comes from one of our regular partners; Lusso Classics. They brought the car from the USA 4 years ago and except for the interior restored it as a nut and bolt restauration with many new parts. Then again about the Americans and their legislation. The USA-spec 911 2.7S was originally a pinched horse. Ours was fully restored with European camshafts, normal pistons, to make it a German thoroughbred again. The cool thing about this car is that it was originally delivered triple-black. That means black interior, exterior (and rollbar), black hood and black rear of the wheels. That’s why this matching car is so hugely sought after as a classic. Now we need a new owner with fancy sunglasses and a practiced wink who will conquer hearts at the stoplights.
Will we see you soon?
– Da Vinci was first considered an artist, then an engineer. What’s your opinion Herr Porsche? Is there any difference?
